Visitors
Visitors, including relatives, are not allowed after 8:00pm and are
prohibited from entering our communal room.
Correct Guest Count
Ensure the correct number of guests is recorded and paid
for during check-in.
Quiet Hours
Please observe silence after 9:00pm to maintain a peaceful
environment for everyone.
Unauthorised Guests
Any unregistered guests found in or around your apartment
after 9:30pm will result in a charge of $80 per person per night to your credit card.
Respectful Behaviour
Any behaviour that disturbs other guests or our staff
will result in immediate eviction from the property without a refund.
No Smoking
All our rooms and apartments are strictly non-smoking areas.
Check-In Requirements
Upon check-in, full payment is required, along with
details of a valid credit card. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, pending a
property inspection. If you do not possess a credit card, a cash bond of $200.00NZD will be
required.
Pets
Pets are not allowed on the premises.
Parking
Parking is free and operates on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please park your vehicle in our designated parking area. In the event that our parking spaces are
full, you are welcome to park your vehicle on the street where parking is free from 5pm to 9am.
Cancellation Policy
You can cancel your reservation free of charge up to 3 days before your scheduled arrival. If you cancel within 3 days of your arrival date, the first night's stay will be charged. In the event of a no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

The Fine Print
- A 3% surcharge applies when paying with a credit card or using PayWave (contactless).
- No surcharges apply to payments made with cash and Eftpos.
- Children of all ages are welcome.
- Children aged 3 years and above are considered adults at this property.
- Please include the number of children in your group and their ages during the booking process to view accurate prices and occupancy information.
- Cots and extra beds are not available at this property.
- Kindly note that some rooms are situated on the first floor and are accessible only via stairs; there is no lift/elevator access.
- Astray Motel and Stay Hostel reserves the right to temporarily hold an amount on your credit card prior to arrival. This is a standard procedure to ensure the validity of your card and to secure your reservation.
